Mark O’Connell is the current chair of the board of directors and a shareholder of MapleTech Enterprise Solutions Inc.

Mark O’Connell is the current chair of the board of directors and a shareholder of MapleTech Enterprise Solutions Inc.
Throughout his 30-year career Mark has cultivated a unique mix of operational leadership and governance experience in some of Canada’s most essential sectors – financial services, telecommunications, technology, healthcare, and education – culminating in a 17-year tenure as CEO of Interac Corporation. In his executive roles he prioritized corporate culture, ethics, and diplomacy in fostering public and private partnerships and corporate growth.
Among his many accomplishments was the successful restructuring of Interac into a share capital corporation, bringing over 50 corporate shareholders/members, the Department of Finance, and the Canadian Competition Bureau into agreement. During these years Mark was designated one of Canada’s top federal government lobbyists, demonstrating deft management of the sensitive interplay between public policy regulations and the private sector. In addition to his years of Interac board governance, he is currently the Chairman of the Governance Committee and member of the North York General Hospital Board of Governors; was a member of the Chancellor’s Board of McGill University and is currently a member of the Regional Advisory Board of McGill University.
Mark is a graduate of McGill University, the University of Windsor, and earned a finance designation at Harvard Business School.

With an extensive foundation in financial services account management and relationship team leadership at companies such as Sun Microsystems, NetApp, and other technology industry leaders, he brings a passion for customer success and advocacy. Jeff excels at building collaborative partnerships and introducing innovative solution models for clients.
His expertise in program management, process optimization, and change management enables him to lead teams that foster mutual success with our clients.
